Finance Executive, Credit & Collections

About the role

The Finance Executive, Credit & Collections will act as the primary liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring timely collection of receivables and accurate credit assessment. This role supports the finance team by maintaining the integrity of accounts receivable records and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with customers promptly to address collection issues, discrepancies, and short payments.
• Execute collection activities, reconcile daily/monthly AR balances, and track them against customer records.
• Conduct credit assessments for sales order and service approvals.
• Ensure invoices are complete and accurate in the AR system.
• Collaborate with Billing, Sales, and Project teams to resolve receivable issues.
• Post incoming payments and allocate them to clear AR invoices.
• Prepare adjustment vouchers, statements of accounts, and submit invoices via email or customer portals.
• Lead regular AR review meetings with sales or internal stakeholders to monitor collection progress.
• Support the Finance Manager or Team Leader with ad‑hoc projects, audits, and report preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related finance function.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize workload, and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing internal and external customers.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a positive working attitude.
