Finance Manager – Financial Accounting & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Finance Manager to lead our group accounting and financial reporting function in Singapore. Reporting to the CFO, you will support accounting, cash‑flow management, regulatory readiness and system implementation across a fast‑growing corporate payments business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Own journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Perform balance‑sheet and inter‑company reconciliations across a multi‑entity structure.
• Determine and apply appropriate accounting treatment for new or complex transactions under IFRS.
• Prepare complete monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow) in compliance with IFRS and group policies.
• Oversee the outsourced accounting partner for one market.
• Support regulatory reporting in key jurisdictions such as AFSL and MAS.
• Assist with finance system implementation and audit readiness.
• Handle treasury operations, including daily cash‑flow monitoring and forecasting.
• Coordinate external partners including banks, law firms and auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, preferably with exposure to consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or CA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a dynamic, high‑growth or multi‑market environment.
• Solid technical grounding in financial reporting.
• Prior experience in an audit or accounting firm is a plus.
• Hands‑on mindset, ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Detail‑oriented, well‑organized and comfortable in a lean, fast‑paced setting.
• Training accredited by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Singapore is viewed favourably.
