Finance Supervisor – Business Compliance & Tax (Singapore/Malaysia)

About the role

The Global Finance Group at Lam Research is seeking a senior professional to lead Business Compliance and Tax reporting for its Singapore and Malaysia entities. You will ensure statutory reporting, audit coordination, and GST compliance while supporting new Southeast Asian entities as they are established.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Singapore GST compliance for Lam Research International Sdn Bhd, including initiatives such as the Major Export Scheme, ACAP, and e‑invoicing.
• Drive and oversee audits and tax queries for three entities, liaising directly with local tax consultants.
• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns, withholding tax, and indirect tax reports for Singapore and Malaysia.
• Support the set‑up of new SEA legal entities (e.g., Vietnam, Thailand) and coordinate related tax compliance.
• Collaborate with Corporate Tax teams on transfer pricing matters and implement changes as directed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent; professional qualifications (MBA, ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, with at least 10 years in audit and tax governance, preferably in a large consulting firm or corporate tax department.
• Proven track record of successfully managing tax audits and strong project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
