Financial Controller – Investment Holding

About the role

The company, a listed investment holding undergoing a strategic transformation, is looking for a Finance Leader to drive change and support the transition. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role is highly visible to the Board and involves overseeing the full finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Finance team across accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, treasury, tax structuring, compliance and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare and review statutory group reporting, annual reports and corporate governance documentation.
• Draft and present board papers, quarterly results, real‑estate valuation announcements and accounting treatment memos to the Audit Committee and Board.
• Coordinate with Group Treasury on cash management, FX and interest‑rate hedging.
• Conduct financial and sensitivity analysis on the investment portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with loan, audit and tax obligations.
• Drive capital and tax restructuring for divestments and negotiate asset financing and refinancing arrangements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting with CA or CPA qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Background in real‑estate or project investment holding companies.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, treasury, tax structuring and stakeholder management.
• Experience with SGX reporting is a plus.
