FP&A Analyst – APAC Hedge Fund (Singapore)

About the role

This position is for an FP&A Analyst covering the APAC region within a global hedge fund organization. The role offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment, collaborating with senior finance professionals and contributing directly to strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform business analysis and deliver economic insights to support senior management decisions.
• Report and analyse portfolio managers' compensation as a core expense.
• Develop financial models for ad‑hoc strategic opportunities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business dashboards with actual results versus forecasts and budgets.
• Build and maintain dashboards using Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field from a reputable university.
• 3–7 years of experience in FP&A within the financial services sector, preferably hedge fund or asset management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, quick learner with a high sense of urgency and ownership.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA) and PowerPoint.
• Financial modelling.
• Dashboard creation, preferably with Tableau.
