Funds Lawyer (1-2 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a junior associate to join the Funds team of an international law firm. The role involves working on all aspects of fund matters, including drafting and negotiating documents, providing regulatory advice, and liaising with fund managers and investors. You will be part of a collegial environment where the partner is dedicated to mentoring young lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate fund formation and investment documents.
• Provide regulatory advice on fund structures and compliance.
• Assist fund managers and investors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on fund‑related issues.
• Support downstream venture‑capital work and related fund activities.

Required profile

• Strong academic record.
• Qualified to practice in Singapore.
• 1–2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Prior experience with fund formation, fund regulatory matters, or downstream VC work.
