General Counsel / VP Legal (APAC)

About the role
We are partnering with a fast‑growing data centre platform that is expanding across multiple markets in APAC. The company seeks a General Counsel / VP Legal to build and lead its legal function, working closely with the executive leadership team on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate and oversee infrastructure and real‑estate transactions.
- Draft, review and manage construction and EPC contracts.
- Structure commercial agreements and customer contracts.
- Ensure corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Lead strategic investments, partnerships and M&A activities.
- Recruit, develop and manage an in‑house legal team.
Required profile
- Extensive legal experience in data‑centre, infrastructure, energy & utilities, real‑estate or large‑scale construction/EPC projects.
- Proven ability to advise senior executives on complex commercial and corporate issues.
- Track record of building and leading an in‑house legal function.
