Global Litigation & Disputes Counsel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation & Disputes Counsel to join a leading global technology company. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will own a diverse portfolio of cross‑border litigation, arbitration, regulatory matters and internal investigations across APAC, North America and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex cross‑border litigation, arbitration and other contentious matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy, assess legal and commercial risk, and drive business‑focused outcomes.
• Manage external counsel while remaining actively involved in substantive legal and strategic decisions.
• Handle regulatory enquiries, pre‑dispute matters and settlement negotiations.
• Lead privileged internal investigations involving sensitive business and employment issues.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to strengthen compliance, governance and investigation frameworks.
• Provide practical guidance and training following significant disputes and investigations.
• Advise executive leadership on material disputes, emerging litigation trends and enterprise‑wide legal risk.

Required profile

• Approximately 8+ years post‑qualification experience, qualified in a major common‑law jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, United States).
• Experience in a leading international law firm and/or a multinational in‑house legal team.
• Strong background in cross‑border litigation and international arbitration (U.S. litigation or Hong Kong‑seat arbitration preferred).
• Proven experience leading or supporting internal investigations and regulatory matters.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across cultures and jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external counsel while staying closely involved in strategy and execution.
• Mandarin language capability is advantageous but not essential.
