Global Technology & Engineering ES Technical Lead (Asia)

About the role

Pfizer is looking for a Global Technology & Engineering ES Technical Lead (Asia) to contribute to its mission of improving patients' lives through engineering that supports the delivery of medicines. The role covers technical projects, process control, technology transfer and the launch of new products, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and co-lead innovative projects across the operating unit, keeping key stakeholders informed on source changes, technical transfers and Cost Improvement Projects.
• Manage project plans, timelines, resources and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Engage with contract manufacturers so Pfizer's strategy is understood and resources are in place.
• Implement process control strategies across unit operations, including trending, review and action plans.
• Develop and deliver Co-Development Plans for endorsement, covering Ph3 readiness, Process Understanding, RFT, ICH, PV and BLA/MAA filing.
• Drive alignment on technical strategies and priorities from the Technology Lifecycle Plan.
• Lead launch teams and operations sub-teams to build supply plans for the commercialization of new products with a global focus.

Required profile

• BA/BS with 6+ years of experience, or MBA/MS with 5+ years, or PhD/JD with 1+ year, or MD/DVM with any years of relevant experience.
• Project management experience and the ability to lead complex projects and manage plans to achieve objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred requirements

• Master's degree and 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
• DAMIC (six sigma) tools and technology transfer and API manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience qualifying new API suppliers and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, including responsible AI practices.
