Head of Business Credit Office – Singapore

About the role

HSBC is establishing a first‑line Business Credit Office (BCO) to centralise credit risk activities across the Credit & Capital Management (CCM) franchise. As the Head of BCO in Singapore, you will lead a client‑facing, high‑performing team that delivers end‑to‑end credit structuring, analysis, rating recommendations and ongoing monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of CCM services in Singapore, ensuring alignment with regional processes and a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor and analyse customer feedback, identifying local improvement opportunities while supporting regional priorities.
• Collaborate with global senior stakeholders—including CCM, WCR, Legal, Coverage, digital channels and product teams—to implement the wholesale credit and lending strategy.
• Implement governance frameworks to escalate and resolve credit and lending risks and issues.
• Partner with local Non‑Financial Risk/Business Risk teams to manage financial and non‑financial risk exposure.
• Support the market’s OKR, KPI and SLA management framework, ensuring service standards are met.
