Head of Legal, Global Asset Management

About the role

The organisation is a leading investment and asset management platform that manages diversified real estate and infrastructure investment vehicles. The Head of Legal will provide strategic legal and corporate secretarial support across the full investment lifecycle for both listed and private funds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal work on fund formation, mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and corporate transactions.
• Advise on governance, regulatory compliance and commercial contracting for listed and private investment vehicles.
• Oversee corporate secretarial matters, including board and shareholder documentation.
• Manage relationships with external counsel, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior legal team members.

Required profile

• Extensive experience advising investment managers, listed entities or private funds.
• Strong background in corporate transactions, fund management and regulatory matters within a regulated financial services environment.
• Commercially minded with the ability to support a sophisticated investment platform and regional growth ambitions.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of corporate law, securities regulation and fund structuring.
• Experience handling M&A, capital raising and governance issues.
• Proficiency in managing corporate secretarial functions.
