HR Generalist – Singapore

About the role

This hybrid position combines on‑the‑ground Site HR ownership with a focused set of business‑partnering duties for the Singapore office. As the face of HR locally, you will own the end‑to‑end employee experience while acting as the first‑line partner for selected teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the Singapore site engagement calendar, including cultural celebrations and wellness programmes.
• Design, curate, and deliver site events, managing vendors and on‑site execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee‑experience queries at the site level.
• Handle employee‑relations matters for assigned teams, escalating complex cases to the Head of HR.
• Support hiring managers with workforce planning, coordinate performance‑management cycles, and provide day‑to‑day people advisory.
• Manage onboarding (30/60/90‑day) and off‑boarding (30/90/120‑day) touchpoints for Singapore‑based employees.
• Maintain accurate local HR records and liaise with the HR Shared Services Centre.
• Implement localized culture and talent‑development initiatives, partnering with HR COEs and HRBP teams.
• Liaise between employees, facilities, and leadership to ensure a positive workplace and monitor sentiment.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore labour regulations, MOM requirements, work‑pass considerations, and MAS expectations for a regulated bank.

Required profile

• Comfortable running site engagement calendars and facilitating employee‑relations conversations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to act as the first point of contact for managers and employees.
• Ability to coordinate events, onboarding, performance cycles, and compliance activities.
