Image Sensor Development Engineer

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for an Image Sensor Development Engineer in Singapore. The engineer develops future generations of image sensors to support the roadmap of a product division, working within the Global Products Group's Surfscan group, which builds metrology and inspection products for wafer, IC and equipment manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop image sensors through comprehensive characterization and design to ensure optimal device performance and alignment with product division objectives.
• Integrate image sensors with camera electronics to enable seamless system operation and enhanced device functionality.
• Run rigorous system testing and verification to uphold quality standards and reliability throughout development.
• Take part in transferring developed technologies to operations, supporting efficient scaling, production and deployment.

Required profile

• One of three paths: doctorate degree with 0 years of related work experience, master's degree with 3 years of related experience, or bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) technologies is highly regarded, as it is integral to advanced prototyping, system integration and real-time processing in image sensor development.
