About the role
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore is seeking an experienced Investigation Officer to lead its investigation team. The role involves overseeing investigations into violations of the Air Navigation Act and related regulations, and supporting legal proceedings from initial inquiry through to court testimony.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and schedule the investigation team’s daily activities.
- Conduct interviews, record statements from witnesses and offenders, and preserve admissible evidence.
- Prepare comprehensive investigation reports and case files for internal and external review.
- Assess evidence, formulate recommendations, and support CAAS and the Attorney‑General’s Chambers throughout case progression, including appeals.
- Present evidence in court and act as a prosecution witness when required.
- Ensure all investigations follow approved SOPs and investigation procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant investigative experience.
- Immediate availability to start.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday on a full‑time basis.
