IT Engineer Intern - IT Enablement

About the role

Network For Electronic Transfers (S) is looking for driven and curious interns to join its IT enablement team and gain hands-on experience in a real enterprise environment. The role suits candidates interested in automation, DevOps, observability and asset discovery. It is a full-time internship starting in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining Python scripts for automation and operational tasks.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM and VPC in a hybrid environment.
• Support DevSecOps activities, including scripting, CI/CD exposure and deployments.
• Contribute to observability initiatives, covering monitoring and logging with Elastic and Dynatrace.
• Take part in asset discovery and reconciliation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and a knowledgebase.
• Work on small projects or improvements that add real value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different domains.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Full-time availability to start the internship in January 2027.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, and strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of Python scripting and automation concepts.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM).
• Interest in DevSecOps, observability tools and IT operations.
