Legal Assistant Manager (0-2 PQE) – Fintech

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Assistant Manager (0‑2 years post‑qualification experience) to join our fast‑growing fintech company in Singapore. Working closely with the VP Legal and cross‑functional teams, you will help manage legal, regulatory and reputational risks as the business expands across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, NDAs, marketing agreements and partnership deals.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across markets, coordinating with external vendors.
• Support corporate governance matters including board resolutions, shareholder issues and corporate filings.
• Assist with legal operations, contract lifecycle management and template updates.
• Conduct legal research and prepare internal guidance notes or training materials.
• Monitor regulatory developments in key markets and produce summaries or impact analyses.
• Liaise with external counsel on specific matters.
• Support special projects such as market entry, licensing applications, acquisitions, disposals, corporate loans and fundraising transactions.

Required profile

• Law degree from a reputable university and admission to practice in Singapore or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• 0–2 years PQE in private practice or in‑house legal teams; recent graduates with training contracts or relevant internships are welcome.
• Demonstrated interest in fintech, financial services or startup environments.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
• Team player with strong integrity and a solution‑oriented mindset.
