Legal Consultant – Japanese Speaker (Remote)

About the role

Axiom is looking for a Legal Consultant who is fluent in Japanese to support Fortune 500 clients in financial services and corporate sectors. The position is fully remote, with the flexibility to work from Singapore, Hong Kong, or any location that meets client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with legal and business teams of Fortune 500 clients to deliver tailored legal support.
• Provide practical, commercially‑focused legal advice that aligns with client business objectives.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents in both Japanese and English.
• Support cross‑border transactions and regulatory matters as required by the client portfolio.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in financial services, corporate law, or a law firm.
• Native‑level proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Japanese.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Legal qualification from any jurisdiction; a Japanese qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
