Legal Counsel – Construction & Corporate

About the role

The Legal Counsel will join MOH Holdings' Legal Division, providing expert advice on construction and corporate matters that support Singapore’s public healthcare infrastructure. You will work closely with project teams, external counsel, and senior management to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.

Key responsibilities

• Review and advise on front‑end construction tenders and contracts, including Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract and Standard Consultancy Agreements.
• Guide project teams on contractual interpretation, performance bonds, claims, variations, and delay issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements such as procurement, services, and project‑related contracts.
• Support dispute management, coordinating with external legal counsel to resolve contentious matters.
• Provide legal advice on corporate and project‑related transactions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Demonstrated experience in dispute resolution and commercial contract work.
• Background in construction law is an advantage.
