Legal Counsel – Fintech & Digital Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our fintech and digital banking team, focusing on product development and regulatory compliance across Singapore and the wider APAC region. The role balances product launch activities with commercial and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to support marketing and sales solutions for digital products.
• Provide regulatory advice for cross‑border transactions.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including finance and technology contracts.
• Liaise with MAS, SFC and other regional regulators to monitor and implement regulatory updates.
• Allocate effort equally between product development/launch and commercial/regulation tasks.

Required profile

• 4–8 years post‑qualification experience as a lawyer.
• Training at a reputable law firm, preferably in a regulatory or TMT practice.
• Experience in technology, media & telecom (TMT), regulation or in‑house legal work is highly desirable.
• Adaptable and agile mindset suitable for a fast‑growing global company.
