Legal Counsel – M&A & Funds

About the role

We are partnering with an infrastructure investment firm that focuses on high‑potential sectors such as digital infrastructure and energy. The firm is expanding regionally and has created a new Legal Counsel position to support its M&A and fund‑related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal support for investment, fund‑related and corporate transactions.
• Advise on structuring, negotiating and executing investment deals.
• Draft and review a wide range of commercial and transactional agreements.
• Offer legal guidance on regulatory, governance and risk‑management matters.
• Collaborate closely with investment, finance and senior leadership teams to align legal solutions with business objectives.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification, admitted to practice in a recognised jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification experience, preferably with a reputable law firm.
• Hands‑on experience advising on private funds and/or M&A transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to deliver commercially pragmatic advice in a fast‑paced environment.
• In‑house experience in private equity, investment management or financial services is a plus.
