Legal Counsel (Real Estate)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join the in‑house legal team of a leading real‑estate group operating across Asia. The role focuses on complex real‑estate acquisitions, developments, joint ventures and other corporate transactions in Singapore and regional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on real‑estate, development and construction matters to business and functional teams.
• Structure, draft and negotiate acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, leases, financing and security documents, and construction‑related contracts.
• Support cross‑border M&A and investment transactions, advise on disputes and general corporate matters.
• Manage external counsel to ensure commercially focused, cost‑effective advice.
• Develop legal policies, templates, processes and handle corporate secretarial duties.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 6‑8 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) from a reputable law firm or in‑house team.
• Strong background in corporate real‑estate transactions and cross‑border deals.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities with solid commercial judgment.
• Ability to deliver practical solutions to senior business stakeholders.
