Legal Specialist (Corporate & Governance)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Legal Specialist to join a fast‑growing CDMO at a pivotal stage of its corporate journey. You will work closely with senior leadership, external counsel and advisors on a wide range of legal, governance and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the company and external legal counsel, translating advice into clear internal recommendations.
• Review, maintain and organize corporate legal documents such as contracts, board resolutions, filings and counterparty agreements.
• Track legal deadlines, action items and follow‑ups across multiple matters.
• Coordinate statutory filings and compliance matters with external corporate secretarial firms and law firms.
• Assist in contract lifecycle management, including database maintenance, internal approvals and document retention.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of technology solutions and digitalisation initiatives.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required by the legal department.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably from a reputable Singapore law firm or the legal/secretarial function of an SGX‑listed company.
• Strong grounding in Singapore corporate law, Companies Act requirements and company secretarial practice.
• Familiarity with listing rules and continuing listing obligations is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to capital markets, IPO processes or securities compliance is highly desirable.
