Machine Maintenance Technician – 12hr Permanent Day Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician to lead a team of technicians on a 12‑hour permanent day shift. The role ensures production equipment runs reliably, minimizing downtime while supporting output, scrap reduction and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of technicians and oversee all maintenance activities for production line equipment.
• Perform equipment repair, troubleshooting, set‑up, buy‑off, type conversion, fine‑tuning, optimization and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers on equipment upgrades and improvement projects, such as modifications to reduce wafer breakage.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, train new technicians and coach the team on complex assignments.
• Handle spare‑parts management, equipment calibration, and ensure compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S and clean‑room protocols.
• Provide proper shift hand‑over and documentation of maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical certificate.
• At least 4 years of relevant technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and make sound technical judgments.
• Strong analytical skills for problem solving and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Experience using computer‑based maintenance systems.
• Hands‑on expertise in equipment repair, preventive maintenance and calibration.
