Management Information System L1 Engineer

About the role

The Management Information System (MIS) L1 Engineer provides first-level technical support to end users, keeping desktop, laptop, mobile and collaboration technologies running smoothly. The role covers troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, supporting Microsoft 365 services and resolving incidents within agreed service levels. The employer is Bank Computer Services Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Network for Electronic Transfers (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line support by phone, email, service desk and remote tools, and log, track and escalate incidents and service requests within the ITSM system according to SLAs.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office / 365, corporate apps, printers and peripherals, and handle device imaging, provisioning and warranty claims.
• Create, modify and disable user accounts in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365, and support Outlook, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint Online.
• Manage devices with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager, deploy apps and security policies, and assist with device compliance.
• Support iOS and Android corporate devices, including email, Teams, VPN and security policies.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, track hardware allocation, return and disposal, and help with equipment refresh.
• Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles and SOPs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 0-3 years of IT helpdesk or desktop support experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong customer service orientation, good troubleshooting and analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
