Manager, Indirect Tax Advisory

About the role

Agoda is looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join its rapidly expanding tax advisory team. Based in Singapore with relocation support, you will work closely with product, commercial and legal teams to ensure compliance with VAT, GST, sales tax and other indirect taxes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assess Agoda’s indirect tax position and interpret business models for tax impact.
• Analyze tax implications of existing and new programs, products and partnerships.
• Identify risks and opportunities, make key decisions and drive practical implementation.
• Manage end‑to‑end tax advisory projects, including scoping, budgeting, execution and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain relationships with external tax advisors and internal senior leadership across regions.
• Support the long‑term vision of the tax team and share technical expertise with colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in indirect tax (VAT, GST, sales tax) advisory and compliance.
• Strong project‑management skills with ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with senior leaders.
• Proactive mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑changing business environments.
