Manager / Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy & Planning (Strategic Resourcing)

About the role

NParks' Corporate Policy and Planning Branch is recruiting a Manager or Senior Manager for Corporate Strategy and Planning (Strategic Resourcing). You will support NParks' strategic resourcing and workforce resourcing strategy, working closely with divisions and senior management to shape workforce narratives, coordinate cross-divisional resource planning and engage with key stakeholders such as MND and MOF.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate resourcing exercises, including RF/MMF and related exercises, and help divisions develop workforce, operational and transformation proposals, including resource justifications and workforce narratives.
• Analyse cross-divisional inputs to support resource planning discussions and help management assess the longer-term workforce and operational implications of resourcing decisions.
• Assess workload, staffing and resource needs, review headcount levels and reliance on contract workforce, and develop right-sizing, redeployment and resourcing options.
• Ensure workforce proposals are grounded in resource prioritisation, funding and productivity considerations.
• Contribute to major organisation-level submissions on workforce transformation and operations capacity, and support strategic workforce transformation initiatives.
• Support preparation for senior management engagements, including presentations, site visits and assessment discussions.
• Help build resourcing capability across NParks, for example through the NParks Resourcing Seminar, and contribute to the resource distribution strategy.
• Maintain a centralised repository of past and current resourcing requests.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and writing skills, able to turn complex information into clear, well-structured narratives and proposals.
• Experience in resource planning, manpower policy, workforce transformation or corporate strategy within the public sector is an advantage.
• Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple workstreams at once.
• Able to engage with internal stakeholders and central agencies such as MND and MOF.
