Manufacturing Excellence Director – APAC

About the role

This senior position will lead the deployment of world‑class operational excellence systems across a complex APAC manufacturing network valued at roughly $6 bn. The role is strategic, focusing on governance, capability building, PMO leadership and cultural change across multiple factories and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional rollout of operational excellence and integrated manufacturing systems.
• Drive large‑scale transformation initiatives across factories in several APAC countries.
• Establish governance frameworks, operational routines, KPIs and continuous‑improvement systems.
• Build operational‑excellence capability and leadership maturity throughout the network.
• Lead change‑management and cultural‑transformation programmes.
• Facilitate structured problem‑solving, operational discipline and performance‑management routines.
• Partner with regional operations, engineering, supply‑chain, digital and manufacturing leadership teams.
• Act as regional transformation and PMO lead to ensure disciplined execution of strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 15+ years in manufacturing, operational excellence, supply‑chain or industrial transformation.
• Proven experience leading operational‑excellence programmes across multiple factories and countries.
• Background in FMCG or consumer‑manufacturing organisations with strong regional exposure.
• Data‑driven, structured and collaborative leadership style.
