Mechanical Design & Process Development Intern

About the role

Join Bosch Group in Singapore as a Mechanical Design & Process Development Intern. You will work on cutting‑edge EV battery disassembly and repair projects, gaining hands‑on experience in a global technology leader’s R&D environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature and patent reviews on EV battery disassembly and repair technologies.
• Develop and evaluate cost‑effective concepts for battery disassembly operations.
• Define key performance indicators to quantify economic and technical benefits.
• Validate concepts through experimental prototyping and testing.
• Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, presentations, and support demonstrations.

Required profile

• Available to work full‑time for 6 months starting August 2026.
• Undergraduate or graduate studies in mechanical, electrical, production engineering, mechatronics, or computer science.
• Interest in EV battery systems and mechanical workflows.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Mechanical design.
• Manufacturing process development.
