Medical Advisor – Oncology

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Advisor specializing in Oncology to join its Singapore team. In this role you will provide medical and clinical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, supporting the delivery of life‑changing medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oncology medical and clinical expertise to internal teams and external partners.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Engage KOLs through scientific exchange meetings, advisory boards, and evidence‑generation activities.
• Contribute to brand strategy, life‑cycle management and the design of medical activities aligned with the brand.
• Lead project management for medical initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific degree (e.g., MD, PhD) with experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder and relationship management.
• Project management experience.
• Qualified doctor or PhD in a scientific discipline is desirable.
• Deep understanding of Medical Affairs processes and regulatory developments.
