Medical Officer – Geriatric Medicine (NTS)

About the role
The Medical Officer will join the Geriatric Medicine team to provide comprehensive care for older patients. This position involves active participation in ward activities, clinics, and teaching responsibilities within a hospital setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily ward rounds and manage patient care plans.
- Supervise and teach House Officers, fostering clinical development.
- Assist in outpatient clinics and support senior doctors during procedures and operations as permitted.
- Perform night duties according to departmental scheduling and operational needs.
Required profile
- Active clinical practice in medicine.
- Basic medical degree from an accredited university or medical school.
- Minimum of 3 years post‑housemanship experience as a Medical Officer or equivalent.
