Nurse Clinician – Intensive Care Unit (FPH)

About the role

The Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Clinician to provide clinical nursing leadership within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role combines direct patient care oversight with strategic planning, resource management, and evidence‑based practice implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate nursing practice and standards of care for ICU patients.
• Manage resources and apply evidence‑based nursing practices in the ICU.
• Provide planning and administrative support to the Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Offer clinical supervision and leadership for the nursing department.
• Ensure safe, cost‑effective delivery of patient care.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Nursing with an Advanced Nursing Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• 6–8 years of relevant hospital clinical experience.
• Specialty experience in intensive care preferred.
• Experience as a preceptor, clinical instructor, or in nursing education & training preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, able to work rotating shifts including nights.
• Adaptable to challenging environments.
