Paralegal – Banking & Finance

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Paralegal to join our Banking & Finance practice. You will support lawyers by delivering high‑quality legal and practice assistance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient legal support to lawyers in the Banking & Finance group.
• Draft and review facility, security, and corporate approval documents.
• Assist with conditions precedent and subsequent documentation.
• Manage transaction timelines, track key dates, maintain checklists, and ensure compliance.
• Conduct legal and factual research and support due‑diligence exercises.
• Leverage legal technology and AI tools to streamline drafting, review, and due‑diligence workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and turnaround times using AI.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum two years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Meticulous, able to multitask and meet transaction deadlines.
• Proactive and able to anticipate team needs.
