Planning and Control Planner

About the role

The Planning and Control Planner will ensure material availability for manufacturing and engineering by managing production, inventory, and process controls. This role supports the delivery of semiconductor equipment and contributes to the company’s mission of advancing materials science.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule and perform pre‑shortage analysis to increase component availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, and validate master scheduling.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and provide status reports on ECOs and ECRs.
• Participate in floor audits, resolve WIP issues, and attend production meetings to report material shortage dates.
• Analyze usage data, forecast spare‑part needs, and manage inventory levels, including obsolete inventory.
• Lead data‑analysis projects, create visualizations in Tableau, and perform statistical and data‑mining analysis using Python or SQL.

Required profile

• Experience with production control, inventory control, and MRP processes.
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills to work with engineers, finance, and cross‑functional teams.
