Planning and Control Planner

About the role

As a Planning and Control Planner at Applied Materials, you will ensure timely material delivery to manufacturing and engineering teams while maintaining the integrity of Material Resources Planning (MRP) processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule and perform pre‑shortage analysis to increase component availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, and validate master scheduling.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and provide status reports.
• Participate in floor audits, resolve WIP issues, and attend production meetings.
• Analyze inventory usage, forecast spare parts, and handle obsolete inventory.
• Conduct data analysis, create Tableau visualizations, and perform ad‑hoc statistical analysis using Python or SQL.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in planning, inventory, and process control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and experience leading small projects.
