Pricing Analyst (6-7 Months Maternity Coverage)

About the role

This fixed-term Pricing Analyst role plays a key part in commercial quotation management, covering pricing review, cost analysis and bid support. The analyst acts as a bridge between sales, operations, finance and product teams to drive deal closure and revenue growth, and works on quotation workflows, pricing databases and quotation tools. The position covers 6-7 months of maternity coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with product, sales and operations teams to support bidding and commercial initiatives
• Collaborate with operations, lane managers and product teams to understand service features and cost structure
• Conduct market rate research and competitive benchmarking to assess opportunities
• Manage quotations in pricing systems and offline templates
• Develop pricing logic, margin thresholds and pricing guidelines, and build pricing and costing models using historical data and forecasting tools
• Prepare and present pricing proposals to stakeholders, including leadership
• Track and report quotation volume, win-rate and margin performance to improve quote turnaround efficiency
• Support pricing issue resolution, train sales teams on pricing tools and templates, and support process improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Finance or a related field
• 2-5 years of logistics or freight forwarding quotation-related experience is an advantage
• Strong understanding of logistics cost structure, tender and bidding processes, and commercial risk control is an advantage
• Creativity in developing quotation solutions and commercial negotiation strategies
• Analytical, organizational, multi-tasking and project management skills
