Principal Executive Recruiter – APJC (Asia Pacific, Japan & China)

About the role

As a Principal Executive Recruiter based in Singapore, you will shape Amazon’s leadership across the Asia Pacific, Japan & China region. You will own the end‑to‑end hiring of senior technology and non‑technology leaders for Amazon’s diverse businesses, partnering directly with Directors, VPs and People & Talent (PXT) leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as trusted talent advisor to senior leaders, providing market insights and influencing hiring decisions.
• Define and execute recruiting strategies for confidential, high‑impact leadership roles.
• Partner with PXT and business stakeholders to align talent priorities and deliver bar‑raising hires.
• Source and engage world‑class passive talent through research‑driven methods and build robust executive talent networks across APJC.
• Own the full search lifecycle, including strategy, assessment, debriefs, references and offer negotiation.
• Lead strategic client conversations with data‑driven market intelligence and candid counsel.
• Operate independently on ambiguous searches, shaping approaches from inception.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an executive search professional handling senior‑level, complex searches.
• Demonstrated ability to work with discretion and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Deep understanding of multiple APJC markets, cultures and competitive talent landscapes.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
