Product Controller – Fixed Income Accounting Analyst (Singapore)

About the role

Product Controllers in Fixed Income Accounting are responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for a global, regulated financial institution. The analyst will work closely with FICC and Equities business leaders to monitor trading activity, verify pricing and produce daily profit and loss statements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor trading activities and ensure controlled support for the business.
• Prepare daily P&L, balance‑sheet analysis and other financial reports.
• Perform independent price verification on structured and exotic financial instruments.
• Execute month‑end procedures and post accounts to the general ledger.
• Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Tax, Technology and Treasury teams.
• Drive innovation projects such as workflow automation and data‑analytics initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong interest in financial products and market awareness.
• Qualified accountant preferred, though not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset with high integrity.
• Ability to work under pressure and take on extra responsibilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial accounting and product control concepts.
• Familiarity with price verification and P&L attribution.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar analytical tools.
