Product Engineer – High Reliability Process Control

About the role

Emerson Asia Pacific is seeking a Product Engineer to support high‑reliability process control products across Singapore. You will work with cross‑functional teams to maintain product documentation, improve performance, and drive cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of engineering documentation and product configurations, including bills of materials, specifications, and part number setup.
• Partner with Manufacturing to meet target yield rates, quality standards, and cost objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
• Provide technical expertise and product support to global Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and customers.
• Test, troubleshoot, and analyse product performance and failures to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Develop innovative, practical solutions for constraints such as low‑power mixed‑signal design and hazardous environments.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of electronics.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic test equipment.
• Experience with through‑hole and surface‑mount components.
• Familiarity with mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of low‑power mixed‑signal design.
