Product Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

Marvell, a semiconductor company, is looking for a highly motivated Product Engineer intern to join a product engineering team working on advanced technologies. You will work closely with Test, Hardware, Design and Firmware engineering teams to design, develop and debug products and solutions, alongside a senior Product Engineer who acts as your mentor on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mass Production Release (MPR).

Key responsibilities

• Support test program verification and debugging, and failure analysis and device characterization.
• Execute or coordinate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and System Level Test (SLT) operations.
• Compile and present engineering analysis reports, and carry out DPPM analysis and yield reporting.
• Complete an engineering project focused on a core set of NPI deliverables or a technical challenge during NPI, then present it to a wider audience including other interns.
• Support high-volume manufacturing from NPI and MPR through sustaining stages, including fab, wafer sort, package assembly, backend testing, characterization and qualification.
• Contribute to yield, test and design-related debugs, and drive manufacturing cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Take part in product-level failure analysis (ATE, bench, physical).

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Able to start the internship during the summer 2027 vacation period.
• A secondary major or specialization in Data Analytics is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong organizational, data analytical and communication skills.
• Good understanding of data analysis tools such as JMP or statistical tools.
• Good problem-solving skills.
