Product Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Product Legal Counsel to join our fast‑moving product legal team. You will work closely with global legal experts and business partners to ensure our AI‑driven products comply with cross‑regional regulations while supporting rapid commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal assessments of product features, AI model training, and deployment, delivering clear legal opinions.
• Provide cross‑regional and cross‑functional legal support, resolving complex multi‑jurisdictional issues under tight timelines.
• Identify process bottlenecks, create guidelines for high‑frequency scenarios, and train teams on common legal matters.
• Assist business teams with day‑to‑day commercial transactions, draft and negotiate contracts.
• Handle additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in the internet/technology sector, either at a reputable law firm or as in‑house counsel.
• Hands‑on expertise in at least one area such as AI governance, data protection, minor protection, content moderation, copyright, developer ecosystem, or media & entertainment law.
• Strong ability to identify legal issues, draft opinions, and negotiate agreements across jurisdictions.
• Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English for collaboration with global partners.
• Solid commercial awareness with the ability to balance legal risk and operational viability.
• Agile thinker, proactive communicator, and effective project manager in fast‑paced environments.
