Production Associate Engineer

About the role

A client of JointHire, established in 2015 and operating one of the world's largest card-manufacturing facilities, is hiring a Production Associate Engineer in Jurong West, Singapore. The role supports the production line so that products are made to high standards of quality and security. It is a permanent, full-time position with working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Support the production line so that all products are manufactured to high standards of quality and security.
• Operate machines and run production according to the schedule, meeting the targeted output.
• Carry out first-level troubleshooting of equipment problems to minimise downtime.
• Work with staff support to keep machine efficiency smooth and optimal.
• Set up effective preventive maintenance.
• Control output quality using advanced technologies and control the flow of goods and materials through a digital quantity monitoring system.
• Manage multiple priorities and carry out other ad hoc duties.

Required profile

• Diploma in any engineering discipline; no experience required, training will be provided.
• Comfortable in a physically active role, moving between production stations during the day.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with some paper dust and machine noise (full PPE provided).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Reliable and collaborative team player.

• Pay of SGD 3,200 to 3,500, with overtime pay and performance allowance.
