Production Operations Technician (6-Month Contract)

About the role

Pacific Refreshments Pte Ltd (Coca-Cola Singapore), a concentrate manufacturing plant in Asia, is hiring a Production Operations Technician for a 6-month contract based in Tuas, Singapore. The role focuses on generating maximum output of quality products through effective use of assigned resources and assets, with two-way transportation provided at selected MRT locations islandwide. Applicants with a current right to work in Singapore are prioritized.

Key responsibilities

• Operate lines and batches to meet efficiency and output targets, and maximize output by reducing downtime through monitoring of changeover, maintenance and breakdown times.
• Produce the right quality by managing critical control points (CCPs) and quantities according to process orders, and ensure accurate product labelling and coding.
• Carry out cleaning, sanitation and GMP in line with Quality System requirements, and perform proper handovers before leave or shift changes.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements at the workplace.
• Support improvement initiatives, assist with trials, data collection and machine troubleshooting, and take part in root-cause analysis and corrective action sessions.

Required profile

• Nitec or diploma in engineering or a related technical field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing company in a similar position is preferable; other manufacturing and electronics industries are welcome.
• Good technical knowledge of line operation and machine maintenance/repair.
• Able to work alternating shifts (7:30 AM - 4 PM / 3:30 PM - 12 MN) and willing to support overtime if needed.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg of products.
