Production Operator – Food Processing

About the role

The Production Operator supports the food processing and filling operations in a manufacturing plant, following detailed work instructions and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production tasks according to work instructions.
• Prepare equipment for start‑up, including verification of metal detectors and other critical control points.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
• Record net weight digitally for each batch.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Report to the First Line Manager and undertake any additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC or equivalent foreign diploma/degree in Engineering.
• Willingness to work a weekly rotating shift schedule (7 am‑3 pm, 3 pm‑11 pm, or 11 pm‑7 am).
• Ability to work in a non‑air‑conditioned environment and lift up to 25 kg.
• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 is an advantage.
