Production Supervisor

About the role

Our client, a nutraceutical manufacturing company in Singapore, is seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead the production floor. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, safety, and operational efficiency while managing a team of operators.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee machinery operation and production line activities, monitoring output to meet efficiency and quality standards.
• Conduct basic equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance; coordinate technical support with external vendors when needed.
• Maintain accurate batch documentation and traceability records.
• Supervise, onboard, and train production staff on standard procedures, safety protocols, and hygiene practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan production schedules.
• Support internal and external food‑safety audits and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO and other manufacturing regulations.
• Maintain and update SOPs and related documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably food, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team.
• Hands‑on comfort with production equipment.
• Proficient English for reporting and documentation.
• Detail‑oriented, dependable and safety‑mindset.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge.
• Familiarity with ISO quality management systems.
• Forklift operation (license is a plus).
