Project Manager (Enterprise Applications)

About the role

Activate Interactive, a technology consultancy in Singapore, is looking for a Project Manager to deliver end-to-end IT solutions for government and enterprise clients. The role combines project management discipline with delivery ownership, covering stakeholder engagement, financial control, governance and leading cross-functional technical teams. It may cover several small-to-medium projects or one medium-to-large project depending on seniority, scope and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver software and IT solution projects from initiation to closure, with plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers and resource plans
• Manage delivery using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methods, overseeing multiple vendors, subcontractors and internal teams
• Act as main client contact, report progress and risks, and ensure compliance with government procurement, governance and reporting requirements
• Manage project budgets and costs, forecast accurately, handle change requests and support contract review and vendor negotiations
• Enforce governance frameworks, identify and mitigate risks, ensure security and data protection compliance, and run post-project reviews
• Lead, mentor and coordinate engineers, architects, QA and vendors

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years in application development or implementation projects
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• PMP, PRINCE2, CITPM, CSM, PSM, Agile, ITIL or service management certification preferred
• Experience managing projects involving cloud platforms, data, AI/ML, low-code solutions and enterprise applications is advantageous

• Project tools such as Jira, Confluence or MS Project
• Planning, risk, issue and change management, budget and resource management, contract and vendor management
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders and strong reporting and presentation skills
