Project Officer – Strategic Collaboration

About the role

The Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Health (CCEH) at NTU is seeking a Project Officer to support a strategic partnership with the WHO Asia Centre for Environment and Health. The role will coordinate joint events, develop reports, and assist with capacity‑building activities to establish a WHO Collaborating Centre at CCEH.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage major CCEH‑WHO meetings, handling logistics, agenda preparation, communications and follow‑up documentation.
• Support regional capacity‑building and training activities, including workshops and technical sessions linked to the meetings.
• Provide project management assistance such as partner communication, timeline tracking and preparation of supporting materials.
• Facilitate coordination among CCEH teams, WHO ACE staff and external collaborators.
• Deliver administrative and operational support to ensure smooth execution of all collaboration activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Geography, Public Policy or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, event management, research administration or work with government/international organisations.
• Familiarity with environmental health, air quality, climate change or public‑health projects is an advantage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for preparing reports, meeting notes and professional correspondence.

• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
