Regional Commercial Director – Southeast Asia

About the role

The company, a global industrial solutions organisation, seeks a Regional Commercial Director to lead commercial growth across Southeast Asia. This senior leadership position is responsible for driving revenue, expanding market presence and strengthening partner relationships in a fast‑evolving region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Southeast Asia commercial strategy aligned with APAC objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
• Build, manage and optimise distributor and channel partner networks.
• Analyse market dynamics, competitor activity and customer insights to refine go‑to‑market approaches.
• Own regional P&L, including forecasting, budgeting and margin optimisation.
• Lead and develop a multi‑country commercial team, set KPIs and build succession pipelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, distributors and strategic partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations and Service teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and manage commercial and contractual risks.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of commercial leadership experience with regional or multi‑country responsibility.
• Proven track record of growth in industrial, engineering or B2B sectors.
• Deep understanding of Southeast Asian distribution models and market dynamics.
• Strong P&L ownership and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and cultural intelligence.
