Regional Head of Talent Acquisition (APAC & MEA)

About the role

A global consumer goods company, represented by its recruiter at Timeo-Performance, is looking for a Regional Head of Talent Acquisition based in Singapore. The role leads the Talent Acquisition APAC & MEA team, which spans many locations across the region, and sits within an international HR leadership team. It involves a mix of strategic, tactical and operational work, including coaching and developing the TA team, and requires openness to travel and the ability to lead while managing employees remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with business leaders, HR Business Partners and the Centre of Excellence to establish the function as a critical support of leadership
• Develop and implement ideas that improve the talent acquisition process, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Deliver HQ-related recruitments for senior positions (30% time)
• Work with management on workforce needs and improve processes covering strategic sourcing, pipeline development, assessment and selection
• Partner with Marketing and Communications on employer branding strategies
• Communicate recruiting progress to stakeholders and measure their satisfaction
• Stay current on organisational changes, acquisitions, reorganisations and industry and technology trends affecting hiring
• Oversee the development and management of the TA team and its recruiting budget
• Collaborate closely with global HR and TA teams

Required profile

• Talent Acquisition background with a track record of creating and executing a results-driven recruiting strategy
• Experience leading a team, with a strong focus on talent development, competencies development and coaching
• Strong cross-cultural awareness and ability to work with an international workforce
• Drive to deliver, business mindset and people leadership
• Employer branding experience is a strong plus
