Regional Manager, Component Quality & Operations

About the role

Jabil is looking for a Regional Manager, Component Quality & Operations in Singapore to lead the Quality and Operations teams at the Inspection & Distribution Center. The role ensures products consistently meet customer requirements and drives excellence in component authentication, inspection operations and quality performance. This is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Quality and Operations functions for the Singapore Inspection & Distribution Center, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory and internal quality requirements.
• Develop, coach and lead the Quality and Operations teams to drive performance, accountability and operational excellence.
• Oversee component authentication, inspection processes and counterfeit risk mitigation activities.
• Partner with customers, suppliers, service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Review inspection findings, assess product acceptability and support material disposition decisions.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and industry standards, including ISO 9001, AS9120 and AS6081.
• Provide guidance on quality investigations, corrective actions and customer quality escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; an engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• 12+ years in the electronic components industry, including experience in independent distribution and/or component brokerage.
• 5+ years leading quality and operations teams in manufacturing, distribution or electronics environments.
• Experience in component authentication, counterfeit mitigation, inspection operations and quality systems, including AS6081 and AS9120; experience leading high-volume inspection and distribution operations preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, EPA/ESD controls and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with RoHS requirements and failure analysis techniques preferred.
