About the role
The Regional Marketing & Merchandising Category Manager is the expert guardian for a specific product category across the SEAO region. Reporting to the Regional Head of Marketing & Merchandising, the role drives transversal efforts to achieve category ambitions and serves as the key liaison between headquarters and local markets.
Key responsibilities
- Support the definition and deployment of the regional product strategy for the assigned category, aligning with global directions and local market dynamics.
- Own category performance, accountable for sales, growth drivers, and product‑mix optimization.
- Identify business opportunities and risks using detailed category knowledge and market intelligence.
- Lead regional merchandising strategy to ensure optimal assortment, stock efficiency, and allocation logic in coordination with Supply Chain.
- Monitor and optimize stock levels, rotations, and aging, shifting from passive to active merchandising management.
- Coordinate 360‑degree go‑to‑market plans for new product launches across markets.
- Act as the category data expert, delivering performance analysis, KPI reporting, and data‑driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to assess sales and stock performance and support transformation projects.
Required profile
- Strong merchandising expertise and analytical rigor.
- Proven experience in category management with accountability for sales and product mix.
- Ability to translate global guidelines into actionable regional strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management across HQ, markets, and supply chain functions.
- Data‑driven mindset with experience in performance analysis and KPI reporting.
